I am also pregnant (26 weeks) with my first and wish for a healthy baby. But secretly, I hope for a girl because I love the relationship my mom and I have. And my husband openly campaigns for a boy because he grew up with all brothers and has absolutely no frame of reference when it comes to raising girls. My entire extended family thinks it's a girl. Strangers feel a great need to tell me I'm having a boy, because of how I'm carrying -- whatever that means.
